Middle-aged record collectors generating data-bergs of useless information, all showing off their 'jewels' in a collective act of wasted energy. Furthering a culture that reveres the past to the extent that it has lost all sight of reality. Collecting has replaced activism, apathy and materialism have replaced community. Each one a curator of his own miserable museum of nothingness. Like a picture of Che Guevara or James Dean in a cheap frame so depleted of resonance they now signify nothing.
